Chris Eaves is a graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School where he was honored as Valedictorian for the Class of 1991.  He was appointed to the United States Military Academy at West Point where he graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1995 and received a commission as an officer in the United States Army where he served as a Tactical Director for the PATRIOT Missle Defense System until 2000.  Following an honorabel discharge from the service, Mr. Eaves served as a consumer and commerical banking officer for various banks in the north Georgia and Chattanooga markets, ending his career in the commerical sector as the Business Banking Market Director for Bank of America in the Chattanooga and Huntsville markets.  In 2011, he was inducted into the LFO Renaissance Wall of Fame for his dedication to community service and the youth of the Fort Oglethorpe area.  Mr. Eaves returned to his Alma Mater in 2014, to serve as a mathematics teacher and coach, assuming the role of Athletic Director in the spring of 2017.  Mr. Eaves is an ordained minister and currently serves as an Associate Minister at Resurrected Reformed Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN.  He is married to Rhonda (Tapp) Eaves (LFO Class of 1993) and has two children:  Sam (LFO Class of 2015) who currently serves as an Air Crew Rescure Swimmer for the United States Navy and Sydni (LFO Class of 2017) who is currently a Biology major at Dalton State College.
