Winter Special Olympics

Four LFO students participated in the Special Olympics Winter Games in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Kevin Dozier competed in snowboarding in 10 meter glide placing 2nd, winning a silver medal, and in the 10 meter slalom placing 1st, winning gold.

Hunter Reid competed in snowboarding in the 10 meter glide. Hunter placed 2nd, winning silver. Hunter also competed in the 10 meter slalom, winning 3rd place and a bronze medal.

In ice skating, Bree Ellis placed 2nd in the 25 meter straight, winning the sliver. She also placed 2nd in the 1/2 lap race, winning another silver.

Lyndie also ice skated, placing 2nd in the 25 meter straight, winning silver, and 4th in the 1/2 lap race.

We are so proud of them! Feathers up!!
