AP Tests Update

AP Testing Update
Posted on 04/06/2020
Due to the unprecedented challenges posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the College Board has made changes to Advanced Placement (AP) testing for the spring of 2020.

AP testing has NOT been cancelled; however, traditional face-to-face exam administration at schools WILL NOT TAKE PLACE.
AP exams will be taken at-home (virtual/on-line exams). Students can take exams on any device they have access to. Students can write responses by hand and submit a photo.
Exams will be given May 11-22. Each exam will now last 45 minutes.
Exams will only include topics and skills most AP teachers and students have already covered in class by early March.
Makeup test dates will be June 1-5.
Students wishing to cancel their AP testing may do so WITHOUT any cancelation fees assessed.
The full exam schedule, specific free-response question types that will be on each AP Exam, and additional testing dates are available on the College Board website.
Please contact your AP teacher or the AP coordinator, Margaret Gigandet, at mgigadnet.lfo@catoosa.k12.ga.us with any questions.
